Our story

As a wife, homeschooling mom of three, and lifelong educator, my work has always centered around children, creativity, and creating spaces where kids feel comfortable being themselves.

For over 15 years, I worked as both a teacher and Director in Montessori education. During that time, I saw how much children thrive when they’re trusted, given independence, and allowed to learn through exploration and creativity. Montessori taught me to truly follow the child — to create environments where curiosity is welcomed, confidence grows naturally, and creativity becomes part of everyday learning.

Now, as a homeschooling mom, I get to see these moments at home every day. Whether in the classroom or around our own kitchen table, I’ve seen how art gives children a way to express themselves and feel proud of what they create. Those little moments of confidence and joy stick with them long after the project is finished.

Little Luminaries grew from a desire to bring these meaningful, creative experiences outside the classroom and into life’s celebrations. By blending my background in education with thoughtfully designed event experiences, I create welcoming art spaces where children can relax, create, and feel proud of their work — while families and hosts enjoy a smooth and beautiful event.

At its core, Little Luminaries is about celebrating childhood, creativity, and the simple joy of making something special together.
